Hi, a little off-topic.
For my T4, I'm planning a few modifications for the spring. I'm thinking of getting new Bilstein shock absorbers, adjusting the torsion bar at the front, installing sport springs with a -20mm drop at the rear, and adding larger stabilizer bars at the front and rear. Since the large TDI puts quite a bit of stress on the wheels, I want to get bigger ones. Instead of 225/60R16 on 7Jx16, I'm considering 235/55R17 or 18 on 8Jx17/18.
Okay, theoretically, all Audi bolt circle patterns 5x110 (?) should fit. But where can I find the load capacities? Will the ones from the A8 be sufficient? The T4 has a front axle load of 1200kg. However, the 3.3 TDI and the W12 also have this load capacity.

Okay, theoretically, all LK 5/110 models should fit, and you're right about that.
Okay, so my friend installed rims from the new A8 on his Passat. He was also concerned about the load capacity, so he brought a brochure from the A8 showing those rims being used. And that's how he got them approved. Regarding the load capacity.
