Hello,
Is it possible to retrofit a diesel particulate filter (DPF) to my Golf 4 TDI 110 hp (AHF) manufactured in 1999?
If so, does the retrofit come with a loss of performance?
Thank you.
Regards,
Asterix.

Hello Asterix!
I don't want to offend you in any way, but I think your request would be better addressed to a catalytic converter manufacturer than here. Why don't you contact companies like HJS or similar? They will definitely be able to provide you with a more competent and reliable answer.
I wasn't aware that anyone had already retrofitted a particulate filter in this forum. However, there have been discussions about the filter... I think the search could identify these topics.

Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

I can only agree with 'brezelmann': the search function is your friend and helper.
You can find things like that at ATU. Ask them about it.
I'd be interested to know your reasons for installing it. Is it for environmental reasons, or to minimize the supposed significant loss in value, or because of the possibility of tax savings (which, however, is neither finalized nor decided)?
