The entire design focuses on extreme lightweight construction, minimizing both rolling resistance and air resistance.

What do you think – is that enough (lightweight construction + reduced losses), or might there be more know-how in that engine that could be interesting to us?

"232cc single-cylinder diesel engine with 4.2 horsepower; that's all the information that can be gleaned from the article..."

Does anyone know more about this?

The article also states that all energy suppliers, such as solar power, are permitted.
With a maximum speed of 30-40 km/h and a combined solar and diesel power system, the fuel consumption should be achievable...

It was so nice... whoever can read has a clear advantage... I almost missed that clause because it immediately pulled me down to the technical specifications below .

Since purely solar-powered cars can already cover such distances under favorable conditions, it's likely that a car with a combined drive system could do the same, which isn't really surprising.
