Okay, so I've just heard that there are supposedly '*** Chip Days' happening again this year, which are supposed to take place sometime in September. Apparently, there are special prices for chip tuning services offered by ***. Does anyone know about this promotion and can tell me more about it? Roughly, how much can you save? And when exactly do these days take place, and how long does the promotion last?

Hello Golfdriver!

About two years ago, I took my Golf 4 TDI with a 115 hp engine to ***'s 'Chip Tuning Days.' I had a very positive experience with them back then; they were friendly and efficient. I paid a total of 1200 DM, including installation and registration, which was a real bargain compared to the 'normal' price.
Perhaps I'll do it again this year with my A6 V6 TDI... but it now has 150,000 km on it, and I'm not sure if I should subject it to that kind of stress at that mileage.
Is it considered 'superstitious' to avoid buying a car with such high mileage? Or can someone enlighten me?
