Hello!

I have a strange problem: I own an Audi 80 Avant 1.9 TDI, manufactured in April 1994.

When I turn the steering wheel to the right, especially when turning sharply, it feels like the front left tire is 'slipping' to the side slightly, like a light jolt. Additionally, it feels like there's some play or looseness detectable in the front left tire.

So far, I haven't been able to detect any noises, and I've already had both front control arms and the strut mounts replaced.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Regards,

Klendathu.

Whenever I drive over bumps, it feels like I can feel every single postage stamp, and everything is directly transmitted to the steering wheel.

After each bump, there's this sort of spongy feeling in the steering.
