hi,
After searching for quite some time and finally finding the aptitude test, I filled it out, but I still don't understand it. So, I'm now turning to you openly for help.
I've never really been happy with my SEAT Ibiza AFN (had timing belt issues multiple times, among other things).
Lately, I've noticed that he hasn't been doing so well.
like before.
My friend has a 1.0-liter Golf with 90 horsepower, and it goes up to 120 km/h, which is only about a car length slower than other cars. Hmm...
'When I measured it with a stopwatch, I got a fairly accurate average of 6.8 seconds, but that didn't really help me when filling out the performance test.'
So far, so good.
Before I start complaining again about everything... I'm just curious about your experiences regarding the time it takes for a timing belt motor to reach between 2000 and 4000 RPM.
I've also found some information using the search function, but the results vary greatly. Unfortunately, I'm not quite clear on how to use the calculation tool. I was hoping to quickly calculate the motor power in approximately.
Maybe someone will be able to explain this to me calmly (for someone like me, who's a bit slow to understand).

While I don't know much about the 'Durchzugsrechner' (presumably a type of control unit), I know that the same vehicle should perform significantly better than a 90 horsepower Golf 3! Unless it has been modified with a chip or a tuning box. Could you please measure the value from 0 to 100? The specifications state a standard value of 10.2 seconds for that range!
Otherwise, I would check the usual problem areas like the VTG (variable geometry turbocharger), mass airflow sensor (MAF), etc. Specifically, cleaning the mass airflow sensor (MAF sensor) once significantly improved the engine's response at lower RPMs.

The 3 Golf is a standard model, I know that.
I just measured the time it takes to reach 100 km/h on a straight, flat road. According to the speedometer, it takes 10.4 seconds.
That was a really great average!
How about you? Are you below the specified performance level?

Okay, so it seems like it's not running too badly after all! I can't tell you my current value right now because there's a box installed, and I have 215 or 225 tires mounted. The last measured value, with the box, was 8.2, but that was quite a while ago! I don't want to unnecessarily push him right now to get current values!
Everything is fine with the engine and its performance; it pulls very cleanly without any lag! Recently, I had a problem where I couldn't reach the top speed. A new mass airflow sensor (MAF) and a cleaning of the EGR valve have now, after a bit of running in, brought the speed back up to 212 km/h, with the tuning box disabled. I now have approximately 200,000 kilometers on the odometer.
Try cleaning the mass airflow sensor with brake cleaner! If this hasn't been done before, it could potentially lead to a significant improvement in airflow!

Okay, I cleaned the language model (LLM) once, but it didn't really make much of a difference.
I also took the turbo out yesterday because of a sticking variable geometry turbocharger (VGT), but everything was fine.
I'm not really sure what's causing this!
'I would say that 8.2 is a good value.'
Well, anything that takes more than 5 seconds definitely needs a calendar. *g*

How about you? Are you below the factory specification?
However, you should keep in mind that every speedometer is inaccurate, so you should expect to measure a speed closer to 105 or even 110 km/h based on the speedometer reading.
Best regards,

Hi,
Do not enter the stopped value in the DZR either.
Experiment with the DZR settings, specifically the fields for over- or under-performance, until the calculated time matches the actual measured time as closely as possible.
Then you can read the horsepower (PS) and torque (Nm) that your engine approximately has in fields E/F 24/25 (in the current download) - if the entered data for your car are correct. Gruß Ulf
