I have noticed the following symptoms on the (few:-( ) hot days:
Coolant loss approx. 300g --> Refilled to 700g (basic Climatronic)
At high ambient temperatures:
Intermittent shutdown and restart of the air conditioner compressor when the idle speed is reached. After prolonged use, no cooling performance at low speeds, and good cooling at speeds of more than approximately 2500 rpm. Unfortunately, I haven't checked if the compressor is overheating.
No fault codes detected!!!
I finally managed to get this resolved with Ford (but I had to negotiate for a long time with the salesperson), but they were unable to identify the issue.
I think the problem always occurs at high temperatures (maybe because I only use the air conditioning for longer then?). And we currently have around 17 degrees Celsius here in the north. But my problem is that I can't wait until next summer for the repair, because then the warranty will expire. How or where can I get a high ambient temperature? Workshops/Climate specialists who have a 'cooling chamber' to test air conditioning systems?
Or could someone identify a typo based on the symptoms?
