Does it actually make sense to provide legal advice if no guarantee is given regarding its accuracy?
Hello!
Unfortunately, there is a law in Germany called the 'Rechtsberatungsgesetz' (Law on Legal Advice). This law unfortunately prohibits providing legal advice. Binding statements are not permitted.
Consequently, I can and must!!!! not provide any guarantees regarding my statements for the reasons mentioned above; they are intended for purely informational purposes

.
Furthermore, I would very much like to prevent the homeowner from receiving a warning.
If I hadn't known what I was writing (i.e., had no idea), I wouldn't have commented on it. The situation was just time-sensitive.
The correct answer would have been: Go to a consumer advice center or to your lawyer.
If you sent the corresponding fax before the warranty expired, you should first negotiate with the seller, and in that case, the warranty period will not expire. The dealer has not explicitly rejected the idea that you are entitled to a claim under the warranty, has he?

'That's correct, however, a claim must first be asserted. The buyer must request a 'repair under warranty' from the seller within the warranty period... In this case, it was very close!'
@bloeckler: What happened to that matter anyway?
Best regards,
