Okay, I think this is normal. I drive an AAT model from 1996 and I also notice that the coolant temperature, according to the gauge, only starts to move after about 10 km of driving straight (no inclines or declines). I also have an oil temperature gauge, and it rises to 80 degrees faster than the coolant temperature. The temperature display in the climate control shows a much higher temperature than the coolant temperature gauge, but when the engine reaches 86° according to the climate control, the coolant temperature gauge also goes up to 86. I think the coolant temperature gauge is a bit dampened, or it shows less in the lower range (maybe to protect the engine?). I talked about this with a friend who also has an AAT, and he has the same thing.
Well, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Yes, exactly. I already mentioned that in my previous post. The sensors tend to break easily, and unfortunately, they are also quite expensive.
