Our Audi sits idle every year in February for 4 weeks, and after this period, the brakes are always so rusted that it's difficult to hold the steering wheel when braking -> new rotors. Sure: That might be true in a garage or workshop, but not for someone working on the road . A lot of time is wasted getting the heavy jack and tools out on the street. The wheel must essentially be completely mounted twice, and it hangs from the axle without a disc during the downtime (I can't leave the jack(s) outside under the car for four weeks...). A better option might be to remove the brake pads and then lubricate the disc.

muhahahaha... just get a Hamerit product; it already includes a rust converter. And 'colorful = creative' is also part of the package.
This stuff even holds together rusted, flaking metal... In my experiment on the house, it lasted at least 3 years... but you probably won't be on vacation for that long.

If I were you, I would get what are called 'car condoms.' They prevent rain from getting in and also allow for good ventilation.
