Hello!

Golf 4 speedometer, gasoline engine, MMO, part number 1J0 919 860.

Encoding 00141 should be changed to 00144.

Unfortunately, that's not possible. The speedometer is not accepting the new coding.

Sure, here's the translation:

1 - 4358 (1,4l/55kW AHW/AKQ mit Schalt. Transmission.
2 - 3538 (for all other engine codes or automatic transmissions).
3 - 4146 (1,6l/74-77kW und 1,9l/50kW-SDI mit Schalt. Transmission.
4 - 3648 (unknown)

Why? xxxx2, xxxx3 doesn't work either... or rather, nothing works. But thank you for the attempt... icon_smile.gif

If I've understood correctly, there are speedometers with a fixed K-value. It seems that this value cannot be changed. This might be the case with yours.
As a supplement.
4 = 3648 = all engines with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automatic transmission.
