Audi A4, 66/81 kW TDI, pulley for generator, freewheel.

Cause:
In certain Audi A4 vehicles equipped with a 66 kW or 81 kW TDI engine and an automatic transmission, there is a possibility that irregularities in the belt drive system may lead to the failure of the belt tensioner.


Procedure:
The rigid pulley on the generator should be replaced with a pulley that has a freewheel mechanism.
At the same time, the belt tensioner and the ribbed belt need to be replaced.
