Hello,

During my test drive today, I noticed two things.
1. In measurement block 0, the actual amount of air being drawn in often does not match the target values. It rarely reaches the maximum value, even with full acceleration, and the target value is also not 100% accurate at idle. However, it gradually approaches the target value when the engine is warm.

2. In measurement block 8, at full load, the limit of the target value for torque limitation is always reached. This would be correct, wouldn't it? But what about the smoke limitation? If it is below the target values or only just reaches them at full load, what does that mean?

In some measurement block configurations, the setpoint table indicates that the values depend on the controller coding. However, the coding displayed in the overview for my controller is not present in the list.

Hehe, I guess I forgot to ask my questions.

What impact do these air mass values have in measurement block 0 if they do not reach the target values?
Does this come from a faulty EGR valve?

Why are the values for smoke limits so low now? They used to be much higher, and sometimes the upper limits were even being approached.
Is there a correlation with the air mass value in measurement block 0?

I have never logged anything related to Block 000, and it doesn't make sense to do so because the values are not processed and are already available in a readable format in other blocks.

How can the Russian border "scrape" against "the upper limit" if it *is* the border?

I don't know what you want to know.

As long as the border doesn't go beyond the minimum, it's fine.

Was the tractor already warm when it reached location 004?

Why does he want to inject it 1.7 degrees early?

Or has the minus sign been eaten away?

To the best of my knowledge, my 1.3-liter engine sputters slightly when idling, but it doesn't happen any later than 1:00 AM (or something like that).

Okay, that's exactly what it was. I had a misunderstanding. I thought the soot limit had to reach the target values, but it shouldn't exceed them.
I've mixed up the soot limit and the torque limit again, and I've completely messed up the various relationships. icon_rolleyes.gif

The water is almost warm, around 80°C.
But, as far as I can remember, I've never seen this on this TDI model before the injection starts.

What does that have to do with STG coding?
