Hi.
A friend wants to install larger wheels on his T4. According to the TÜV (German technical inspection authority), he needs to adjust the speedometer. Is this possible with VAG-COM? If so, which channel? Or is it a mechanical adjustment?
I won't receive the bus data until tomorrow.
Best regards, Bolzer.

Hi,

on http://wiki.ross-tech.com/
"It's about the 'coding number for the momentum transfer number'."

Simply use GPS to test which one fits best.

During my upgrade from a G3 to a G4 AI, I adjusted the wheel speed factor in the G4 tachometer, and now it displays the correct value.

Sure, here's the translation:

"Best regards," or "Sincerely,".

Hi.
Thanks for the help. It worked. I changed the AI setting to match the wheel circumference of the 2.8-inch tires. Now the speedometer shows a higher reading than it should.
Best regards, Bolzer.

Some AIs (like G4 V6, or was it VR?) even provide direct assistance when you hover the mouse cursor over the relevant field in the adaptation channels.

It's not the device itself icon_wink.gif that's the problem, but the VAG-COM version. icon_wink.gif Not all versions, or all distributors, are the same. Rainer, for example, has a performance measurement feature integrated, which Andy Vetter's version doesn't have. }

aha...... So, my version provides KI direct assistance for a G4 V6, but not for my 3B. Or could it be because I was logged into KI with the V6 (using the login that I can't find anymore icon_mad.gif)?

Rainer, for example, also integrated a performance measurement, which Andy Vetter's system does not have .

Yes, unfortunately - I should have also bought mine from Rainer icon_rolleyes.gif.
