hello,
I need your help again.
A6 Avant Quattro, manufactured in November 2002, TDI engine with 180 horsepower.
Does the left rear window sometimes open during driving and then cannot be closed immediately using the window switch?
We have already deactivated the comfort control!
Once, while driving the station wagon, the display panel popped open.
Hatchback displayed!
I would be grateful if you could tell me where the error is most likely located.
'or how to find the error?'
I've already heard about a lot of things, from door locks to window motor and window switch replacements.
oser rear door lock.
But maybe one of you has encountered this exact issue before?
Thank you for any help.

Hi,
I also once experienced the self-opening tailgate on my A4 B5; it was quite impressive.
The microswitches in the gate opener were oxidizing inside the gate mechanism, causing them to short circuit. This resulted in the gate repeatedly opening unexpectedly – it was incredibly frustrating.
That would never have happened back then.
The problem with the windows is probably related to the comfort electronics system; there are a lot of microswitches in there. If it's not due to that, things will get more complicated!
But the signal to open must come from somewhere – so you'll have to check the cables, disconnect them, and test things... good luck with that!
Have you tried using VAGCOM yet?
