Audi A4 2.5 TDI Service: 2001 Model Help

I urgently need help. I have an Audi A4 2.5 TDI, year 2001, and I can't access channels 42-45 under control unit 17 (instrument cluster) with VAG Com version 311. I understand the instructions to mean that I should start VAG Com and click on "Instrument Cluster" (17). It establishes the connection and displays the data of the control unit. Then, I click on "Adaptation - 10" in the bottom right corner. This is where you can select the channels. However, when I enter 42, it doesn't accept a value, and I can't change anything. Do I need a login to make these changes? I urgently need help because otherwise, I can't set the longlife interval, and the Audi dealer didn't want to do it for me, even for a fee.
When I access the measurement points, it displays the corresponding channels and their values under "013" and subsequent entries.
