AKN with error codes 00553 and 00523

Hello,
My A6, manufactured in 1999 and equipped with AKN, has the following error codes stored in its memory: 00553 (Mass airflow sensor - short circuit to positive - intermittent) and 00523 (G42 intake air sensor - interruption/short circuit to positive).
The faults manifest as a sudden loss of power when accelerating.
I can actually rule out a faulty mass airflow sensor, as it has already been replaced.

Is there a connector somewhere in the AKN (likely referring to a specific vehicle model or system) between the mass airflow sensor and the engine control unit? I've had several failures where connection problems arose due to these connectors (e.g., airbags, window lifters, etc.)!

What other ideas do you have about what might be causing this?
