Strange Noise Under Full Load

Hello!

My Golf 3 (engine code: AHU) is making a strange noise when under heavy load (e.g., in 3rd gear on a winding road).
Error memory is clear, no other issues. Could the intercooler be leaking? The noise is difficult to describe.

Best regards,

I'm not really an expert, but I'm sure I can do a little more.

howling, whistling, squeaking, croaking, cracking... umm yes are there any other environmental factors?
