Hello everyone!
I'm having a problem with my Audi A4 2.7 TDI, manufactured in 2006!
It's idling roughly and shaking. The error memory is empty.
Okay, now to my question. I can read measurement blocks 72-78 from the MSG.
These are average values that are being stored. Can I do something like Audi/VW?
Read out the current ignition/injection timing values?
I spoke with my doctor, and he suggested that I should...
Should I bring the car in the morning, or leave it with him overnight so it can warm up?
and during that time, we can read the data from the injectors!
Can I do that with VCDS as well, or can you only read out the stored values?
Since all my saved values were correct, I was a bit puzzled!
I hope someone can help me!
Greetings from the cold Palatinate region.
Michael.

Hello,
VCDS reads the same values, there is no difference. The values adapt relatively quickly, otherwise the engine wouldn't be able to run properly.
If all the timing values are within range, please also check the idle speed control (MWB13) and perform an auto-scan.
What exactly is the problem? Is it stuttering under partial load? Are there issues when transitioning from "no load" to "low load"?
Please don't be afraid to speak your mind and just say what's on your mind. The more information you provide, the better we can help.
Best regards, Rainer.

Hi!
Thank you for the response! I think this might help me.
My problem is that I'm experiencing excessive idling, as well as jerking and sputtering starting around 1400 RPM!
And when you push it to the limit, it really roars!
As I said, there were no error codes in the system's memory, and the warning light didn't come on either!
Best regards,
Michael.

Do you have VCDS?
Were you at the Rittersbach festival or somewhere else?
Okay, please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will only provide the translation. Transparency, Teamwork

Yes, I have VCDS!
"Ritterbacher" is a German surname. It could also refer to a place name or something else depending on the context. Without more information, it's impossible to say definitively what "Ritterbacher" refers to.
So, that's when I wasn't there.

Where is this area?
For me, roughly speaking, it's like this: http://www.rittersbacher.de/ocms/images/10109.gif

The area is from the vicinity of Mainz .
"So, diagnosis: 2 injectors have failed."
Get an additional 70% discount, then the fun part: installation, parts, and diagnosis.
trotzdem noch 500.- Euro kosten? Is that normal?
Where can I get injectors besides from Audi?
Does anyone have a tip for me?
Best regards,
Michael.

Deadlock.
It's actually ridiculous, this generosity. On the other hand, you won't get it any cheaper.
I can't imagine an injector costing 250 euros.

Hello everyone!
Okay, here's a quick recommendation from another person from the Palatinate region: Dieselkontor offers piezo injectors at a relatively cheap price. Depending on the type, they start at around €230 per piece. At Karrer und Barth in Karlsruhe, I was offered original Bosch injectors for €300 each.
In my opinion, you won't get out of the ring for less than 500 frogs.
Best regards from Gleiszellen.
Frank.
