7-Speed S-Tronic Problems & Solutions

First of all, hello everyone.

Okay, it's about an A4 B8, model year 2014, with a 2.0 TDI engine and a 7-speed S-Tronic transmission. Initially, everything was perfect. In January, I had the emissions update done. Since then, my transmission has been shifting up much later than before. This wouldn't bother me too much, but especially at 100 km/h, it constantly shifts back and forth between 6th and 7th gear. When I use the cruise control, it shifts up much earlier and stays in 7th gear, just like it did before the update. The shift recommendations when manually shifting are also exactly the same as before the update. It only shifts erratically when I accelerate myself. The specialist workshop just said, "We didn't do anything to the transmission."
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

No, don't ignore those seemingly endless instructions during the registration process.
