I need to disable the US tail light due to a fault code. According to Stemei, I've tried everything, but when I try to change the dimming value from 30, I always get the message "Invalid value range." Can anyone help me? I'm also available by phone, as that's easier.

Stemei is a fraudulent store that was selling illegal copies of my products. The instructions are far too generic and, overall, nonsensical. There's already a thread about this.

Without an Autoscan, it will be difficult for anyone to help you, as they won't be able to identify the specific control units and other components involved, regardless of whether they have access to a phone or not.

Not quite, just watch the video about the Autoscan. Use the latest version of VCDS.

Then, go to the vehicle's body control module, address 09, then select "long coding," and then start the L-Code assistant.

And then you have to go through the assistant byte by byte and reverse the US encoding of the lighting.
