Support for VCDS on Windows with ARM (ARM64) processors is being tested, and there are
new VCDS installation packages:

Notes:
This version introduces ARM64 support for both Windows 10 and Windows 11 (also official Windows 11 support, although that already worked fine with version 21.3.0). While we don't have native ARM64 builds of the (translated) OEM versions, the x86 builds will install and work on Windows 10 & 11 with ARM64 processors (tested on a Microsoft Surface Pro X). These x86 builds will run in emulated mode and require a special compatibility setting to be applied; this emulation also implies a slight speed difference, which is not very noticeable.
2) Please understand that Windows 10 & 11 for ARM64 do NOT support KEY, HEX, HEX+CAN or any other older hardware which uses FTDI-based USB drivers (due to a lack of ARM64 support in those drivers). Customers MUST use HEX-V2 or HEX-NET interfaces on ARM64-based devices. The installer will NOT install these drivers, and as soon as an ARM64 machine is detected, it will also ensure that the aforementioned compatibility/emulation setting is applied to the x86 VCDS.EXE in order for it to run. |
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

This version introduces ARM64 support for both Windows 10 and Windows 11 (including official Windows 11 support, although it already worked well with version 21.3.0). Therefore, anyone using a tablet or laptop with Windows on an ARM processor can also use the current HEX-V2 and HEX-NET interfaces with it!
Old diagnostic hardware (HEX-USB, KEY-USB, HEX-USB+CAN, etc.) will not work, as new device drivers are required for it. This is another reason for an
upgrade to HEX-V2 / HEX-NET.
This is the first version for the Windows ARM platform, and feedback is welcome!
