Hello everyone,
My Golf 5 2.0 TDI with a BKD engine is unfortunately running unevenly, both when stationary and sometimes while driving.
I once used VCDS to check the fuel quantity deviations, but I can't tell if the values are within acceptable limits or not. I want to narrow down the problem to see if it's the injectors or the fuel pump module. What do you think about that?

Hi,
Unfortunately, the video and the photo are not loading for me.

Most often, you'll hear signs of a failing dual-mass flywheel before you actually feel them!

Are there any outliers, either above or below, in one or more cylinders with respect to the amount of material?

Occasionally, I hear a clicking sound, but I can't currently determine whether it's caused by the dual-mass flywheel (DMF) or by the uneven running of the engine.
Here are the values I have:
At coolant temperature: 12.6°C.
Cylinder 1 = -1.04 mg/H.
Cylinder 2 = 0.47 mg/H
Cylinder 3 = 0.19 mg/H
Cylinder 4 = 0.35 mg/H

Just wanted to give a quick update: I've completely replaced the ZMS (presumably referring to a clutch master cylinder), and the clicking noise and uneven running have been fixed.
You're welcome.
Best regards, Orhan.

Here's a short update: I've noticed that the slight jerking is still present, even though the clutch master cylinder (ZMS) was replaced months ago. I feel this jerking mostly when the car is stationary. I'm also occasionally experiencing a problem where the clutch pedal gets stuck down and doesn't return to its normal position, which I then have to manually lift with my foot. I suspect the issue might be related to the bleed valve or the slave cylinder. Can this cause also be responsible for the stuttering?

Hello,
"Ruckeln" is a broad term. Please define more precisely how it manifests itself. The idle speed readings are within the normal range, and there's no reason for any jerking or hesitation.
The problem with the clutch operation usually has nothing to do with the jerking.
If the clutch pedal stays down, does the clutch disengage at all?
Best regards, Rainer.
