Pierburg 1.9 Tdi Tandem Pump

Hello,
After 280,000 km over 22 years, I want to replace the LUK tandem pump (it's slightly leaking).
Unfortunately, Bosch no longer manufactures this part, and it is now almost exclusively available from Pierburg (7.02551.20.0).
Is this product good and durable? Does anyone have any experience with that?

It was almost to be expected. The coolant hose under the tandem pump is swollen.
However, in the AKTE system, I can only find a set with the part number 6Q0122447CE.
Do you sell fabric by the meter here?

Yes, it is a form fitting hose with an outer diameter of 15mm and an inner diameter of 8mm.
I hope they still offer it at VW.
Many spare parts were discontinued in early 2024.

I was able to get the entire hose from VW after all.
And I am now also a customer at VW Classik Parts with my Ibiza TDI from 2002 .
It was originally intended to be used for a maximum of 10 years or 120,000 kilometers.
Now, we're almost still eligible for the "H" license plate because electric cars are still extremely overpriced.

Actually, the Ibiza was only supposed to be used for 10 years, but now I'm buying replacement parts from the Classik Part VW Shop .
Even though I would have preferred an affordable and practical electric car since 2014.

For a 10-year-old electric car, you'll likely have to pay xxxx or xxxxx euros for a new battery... which is enough money to buy a lot of diesel fuel.

@Rüdi: Logically, with the current battery technology, the battery will be at the end of its lifespan after 10-12 years. Therefore, an electric car should also be significantly cheaper than a gasoline-powered car!
Only solid-state batteries can lead to durable batteries.

Batteries are almost always like playing the lottery, so I prefer fuel-powered objects and compressed air.

I still prefer my old TDI models.
Good batteries last for about 10 years for me.
In the future, or rather since 2009, I want an affordable electric car .
I won't be buying another internal combustion engine vehicle.

I will only have so-called internal combustion engines; no bombs will be allowed on the property.
