What type of water pump is installed in the 2.0 TDI engine?

I want to replace the timing belt and water pump on a Skoda Kodiaq NS 2.0 TDI 4x4 diesel with 190 hp / 140 kW, model year 2017 (engine code DFHA).

But - how do I find out which type of water pump is installed without having to disassemble everything beforehand?
Switchable or non-switchable, with or without an integrated disconnect contact. How do you find that out?

When you order parts from the Skoda/Audi/VW/Seat parts service, they will use the VIN to find the correct parts.
In principle, the DFHA engine should be an EA288 engine, and therefore have a water pump whose flow rate is controlled by the coolant valve for the cylinder head.
You can find the exact details and possible variations in the specific repair manual for your engine. You can download it from (Skoda) Erwin (siehe Fehlerdatenbank), but it's a paid service.
