This is also my first question.
It's incredibly frustrating that the dehumidifying function of the air conditioner shuts off exactly when you need it most, which, in my opinion, is completely unnecessary.
How can I bypass the Climatronic system so that it works even in winter?

You could already do it by simply manipulating the resistance of the external temperature sensor.
However, you shouldn't, because the air conditioner gets below freezing when it's running.
You can, of course, try to get closer to the freezing point. But please don't cry if the air conditioning breaks down because you pushed it too hard.

Private.

In my opinion, it's absolutely not necessary.
The problem is the evaporator. It already reaches temperatures of around 3-6°C in the summer, despite an outside temperature of 35°C.
If it gets too cold outside, ice would form on the evaporator. This would, on the one hand, obstruct the airflow and, on the other hand, directly endanger the evaporator. As is well known, water expands when it freezes, which could damage the evaporator. Because new moisture is constantly being supplied from the outside, the evaporator can freeze up very quickly. It's similar to leaving a beer cooler open...
By the way, I've never needed a dehumidifier in the winter (and until last year, I didn't even have air conditioning in my car). Well-cleaned windows are and will remain the best solution for preventing fogging!

Turning the heating up to full blast will also work.
Best regards, WarLord.

I'm not sure if 'Thermo King' is a familiar term to you: www.thermoking.de
'I've been working in this field for over 10 years and I've witnessed the transition from R12 to R134a firsthand. It's true that the evaporator gets cold, but in the winter, I'm unlikely to be cooling; instead, I'll probably be heating. When the air conditioning is running, the air is dried, and I no longer have foggy windows. This is called 'reheat' in the bus climate control area.'
Okay, the principle is the same, you can believe me. So, definitely nothing will work its way in, I'm not worried about that. I also had the idea about the resistor, but I'm a bit confused because I have two temperature displays: one in the MFA and one in the Climatronic. I found one sensor, located behind the front bumper, but I'm not sure if it's the right one. Can you help me with that?
Okay, regarding the LMM (likely referring to a mass airflow sensor): I already have the second one installed (AFN with 240,000 km), and that one is broken too. Thanks to your website, I ordered one from DC, and it's arriving tomorrow. I'll test it out right away.

The same principle applies, you can believe me.
I believe you. But you probably also know that the air in our cars first passes through the evaporator and then through the heater core. That's why the temperature is limited to 0°C after the evaporator...
The external temperature sensor is the one located in the bumper. It supplies data to the MFA (Multi Function Display) and the Climatronic system. In your case, it would be better to tamper with the sensor located near the evaporator, because otherwise the MFA will constantly display positive temperatures while it's -15°C outside.
No matter which sensor you use, the Climatronic system will likely react negatively and affect its temperature regulation.

No, I didn't know that, and that completely changes the situation.
Then I'll just leave it alone and continue to live with the defrost button.
