Hello,
My friend converted his Vento from a 1Z model (without WFS) to a PD model (with WFS).
Now the question is, what do we need to get the car running?
He got a combination instrument panel for the engine that's from a Passat 3BG, and we found an engine control unit on eBay. Now, how do we connect everything and what else do we need?
Thank you for any help.
Sure, here's the translation of the German text "cu basti" into English:
"cu basti" is a greeting that is used in some parts of Italy. It is similar to the English phrase "see you later." Cu Basti |

You'll probably need a reading coil and a matching transponder (from a key of the immobilizer generation). Then you'll need to wire everything correctly, and finally, you'll need to adapt the immobilizer to the engine control unit and pair the key with the immobilizer. |

Take a look at the DRV page and read it. You should find everything you need there!

Then, select examples and then choose the corresponding document!
Good luck. |
