Hello,

'Lately, I've been occasionally experiencing 'metallic' tapping, clicking, or creaking noises when braking (usually about once every five braking instances).'

The noise is primarily audible at speeds below 50 km/h, likely due to vehicle-related sounds.
I think the noise is coming from the back. (Sometimes, it almost sounds like it's coming from the front.)

What could this be about?

Golf IV AJM PD TDI 115 hp.
MJ 02, BJ 5/01
89,000 km
Standard sport suspension.

Thank you.
Razor.

I think the readers here need more information to get real help... I'm not really understanding this... why five times? Why the front and then the back?

If only I knew why sometimes it's in front and sometimes it's in back...

I meant that this noise occurs approximately every fifth time I brake.
It's a strange thing... I see.

Regards,
Razor.

The noise is coming from the rear left brake.
These were only replaced 3 weeks ago (the surfaces/pavement).

Regards,
Razor.
