No, it probably won't work - and apparently it would also be unnecessary.
I found another log entry from my Golf that mentions the 021 GH.
It shows practically the same (excessively high?) RWG voltages as your car. However, I can guarantee that no one has tampered with the engine control unit (ECU) maps in my car, as I've owned the car since it was new and have never had it chipped.
By the way, the pump and the nozzles must be the same.
So, we are left with the rather theoretical question of why the logged RWG voltages are so significantly higher than the characteristic curve data . Gruß Ulf

Hmm, well, I'm also out of ideas now .
Is there anything else I can check?
The car already jerks slightly when accelerating, exhibiting signs of load shift instability.
However, the LWR (Low Range) was already present from the beginning (in used cars).
It's becoming increasingly common for my CD/CDR/MP3 radio to "forget" what was playing before it was last turned off, and it starts in radio mode (I'm not a fan of radio, so I usually play MP3s).
However, it could also be due to the radio itself, but it only started happening in the Passat. Perhaps it's an electrical problem?
I found some information in the forum about surging during acceleration and low-speed rumble, but unfortunately, none of it applied to my situation.
Unfortunately, I was unable to disassemble the pump because I am missing the "special wrench" (... I'm not talking about the Torx screws now).
I would like to check the ESP system myself because I simply don't trust the Fiat dealership to do it properly (because you can't really adjust the ESP system anyway *lol*).

macro

Hello,
Here's the promised 000/004/008 log data from a full-throttle run, from 1000 to 4000 RPM:
as an Excel workbook
Interestingly, the injection angle decreases from 1500 to 3000 RPM.
When it comes to interpretation, I would rather rely on you professionals .

Hm? Please explain to us what strange things you're seeing (definition of "Spritzwinkel"?). Gruß Ulf

IMHO, the behavior from the start of the spraying process is normal, although not perfect.
Best regards, Rainer.

I mean the adjustment of the injection timing at full load.
Shouldn't it increase with the speed?
In columns I and J of the file, the angle initially increases, then decreases to 2000 RPM, and then increases again.
If you think the data looks normal, please briefly explain why the effect described above occurs, and then I think this thread can be closed.

Columns I and J in the file. The angle first increases, then decreases to 2000 RPM, and then increases again. |
Column I represents the target value, which is read from the characteristic curve.
The initial injection-molded parts do indeed look a bit uneven. And as long as no one has modified them, the data also corresponds to the standard production settings.
If there's anything to criticize in practice, it's the deviation from the rule (J - I). However, that's fine in your case, as Rainer already mentioned. Gruß Ulf

Hello,
Okay, then I'll rule out something like a 10-cent tuning discrepancy as the cause.
Luckily, there are still enough clues that I haven't checked yet during the troubleshooting process .
Thank you for the practical and theoretical assistance!

macro

Hello,
I am referring to this thread:
I'm sorry, but I cannot access external websites or specific files online. Therefore, I am unable to translate the text from the provided URL.
Problem: The start of injection does not change with fuel temperature.
Unfortunately, I can post to the professional forum, but my ESP exhibits the exact same behavior even in the default settings mode.
So, if anyone has any news or information about the issue, please let me know.
"Thank you."

Hi,
Quote: | | Problem: The start of injection does not change with the fuel temperature. |
And what's the problem with that?
Set to ensure that the start is OK, the full control range is available, and everything is ready.
Check the timing belt tension. Small "jumps" in the basic setting mode are normal.
Best regards, Rainer.

Hello,
I would like to refer again to the last post by TDII from the thread mentioned above:
Quote: |
"Does anyone have any more ideas? The differences between Rainer's diagrams and mine are quite clear; while the injection start time follows the curve in his diagrams, it remains constant in mine."
Is there anyone among us who has observed the same phenomenon with AAT or AEL, or who might be able to try the same experiment?
|
My main goal was to be able to provide TDII with my measurements and results, as well as the data from his simulations and observations.
I just remembered: I'll send him a private message, because at this level, it doesn't matter whether I can post on a professional forum or not.
The only pity is that other readers of the thread mentioned above won't benefit from it.
There are people who like to clarify even illogical situations in great detail, in order to learn from them. While this may not only have advantages, it's not necessarily a bad thing, is it?
Regards,
macro

Hello!
Having learned, after a while, not to always start a new thread,
but to attach it to a thematically similar one; here's a question regarding my...
V6 TDI AKN:
In the default settings, the "late" value is 4.2°, and the "early" value is approximately 10°.
The attempt to push the deadline back further was unsuccessful, except that...
der Motor beim Beschleunigen dann heftig rußte. Bei einer Meßfahrt gestern im 3. Gang (TT5)
wanderte der Zeitpunkt von 1° (1500 Upm) nur bis auf 10-11° (4300 Upm). SShouldn't he?
It would likely show values around 14-15° at those speeds.
Best regards,
Matthias.

Hello,
Well, since the AKN engine has a different type of motor (in terms of its construction) than the AFN, it might be better to start a new thread.
...unless I get punched in the face by Rainer *lol*
Furthermore, this thread is more about the fact that the start of injection doesn't "shift" along the diesel temperature curve in the timing checker, but remains vertically constant, which apparently isn't the case with other engines.
Regarding your question:
The injection timing on my AFN engine is around 15-16 degrees according to VAG-COM during the acceleration test.
What do you actually mean by "early" or "late" in the default settings mode?
I only see the target and actual values together with the value used to control the injection pressure (from left to right).
Regards,
macro

|
When I switch to the basic settings mode in the MWB 004, VAG-COM removes...
Increase the speed from 740 to 840 RPM and switch between "early" and "late" every few seconds.
back and forth, with the respective degree indication for the target and actual values. For "late," the value is supposedly...
between 0 and 4 degrees.
Best regards,
Matthias.

Weird.
For me, the target value is 8° and the actual value fluctuates between 7.4 and 8.6...
Switching it doesn't do anything.
I still have the last 3.x version of VAG-COM.
Perhaps the injection molding machine is only being set to the late stage position.
Or the SV (Steering Valve) might be faulty. However, it functions normally during operation.

I have version 6.07 (English), but because of it, my car doesn't function normally At the top, everything is fine.
He took the wind out of me, with a lot of acceleration, barely reaching 200 km/h, and even going downhill for a long time, not even reaching 210 km/h .
