Honestly, I can't believe it, especially with Continental. Sure, brands like Fulda and Kleber are fine, but not Continental.

Well, considering the 'rent-a-slave' situation where you're paying just €5.50 an hour, I'm not surprised by anything anymore. These aren't exactly the most motivated or reliable employees.

Let's just hope that at least in the top management positions, there will be a change of personnel, and not just celebrations with champagne popping, affecting innocent people.

Good evening.

Hello everyone,

I've also tested quite a few different tires, and in the future I will only use the Hankook Ventus Prime K105 in size 205/55-16 V! The tire wear is around 50-60,000 km, and it's a very well-balanced tire with excellent performance on dry roads.

Currently, I have about 3mm of tread left and I'm amazed by the wet grip and aquaplaning performance!

Another great feature is the very quiet road noise; I had Premium Contact tires from Continental on my previous Bora, and these are not comparable!

Dann der Preis: 75,- incl. Monday!

I might test the Hankook evo s1 as a replacement for the front tires, but I'm actually quite convinced by the k105, we'll see!

Best regards, Ferdi.

I also bought them yesterday and had them installed on my 206. However, they are probably quite small tire sizes, as far as you're concerned: 195/50 R15. icon_rolleyes.gif

First impressions after trying out these low-cost tires made in Germany: Incredibly quiet rolling noise, but surprisingly soft sidewalls despite the rim protection. I'll have to be even more careful with the already somewhat unstable rear end! Unfortunately, they can only be driven and steered with reasonable precision at a relatively high air pressure (3 bar front and 2.7 bar rear). When mounting and balancing, there was no visible height or lateral imbalance, and overall very little weight was required.

The tread feels quite hard due to the rubber compound, so it could potentially last a very long time! While most online reviews are often paid promotions, the Ventus Prime K105 consistently received positive feedback without any noticeable weaknesses. Some reviewers mentioned sensitivity to wet conditions, but I haven't been able to assess that yet.

Hi J., 3 bar and 2.7 seem a bit too high to me. Once the tires have worn in a bit, the track width and grip will increase, so you'll need to wait and see.

Wait and see... icon_cool.gif I also experimented for a long time with the previous set of tires until I achieved a proper, consistent handling characteristic and acceptable driving dynamics. A rather stiffly tuned suspension with firm-feeling stabilizers doesn't really work well with tires that have a pronounced tendency to flex in the sidewalls. It feels like you're driving on eggshells...

Note: Production during the 48th and 49th weeks of 2009. So, it has aged well... icon_wink.gif
