I've only tried it without using much force so far, but that didn't work.
The black, round part is minimally rotatable within the blue casing, and that's all it does. Sure, I will.
Currently, I'm troubleshooting an issue with the brake pedal switch on a Golf. It's a sporadic fault on sensor G201, with the additional code 008, which, according to the error database, indicates a problem with the brake light switch. However, it is currently not being produced anymore, so the switch (~8 €) is only available in limited stock.

//edit: Or are you only referring to the removal of the pedal bracket? That's easily done. According to the repair manual, however, the switch should not be used after that, because it will no longer provide a secure connection. The newcomer was already very well-fed.
