I said it's not about the ASZ.
However, that apparently doesn't apply to all ASZs.
For example, with the 019LA, I can use the code 12233 to change the EGR setting to its maximum limit (channel 3).

I also experienced the problem with the 12233 login. When a friend tried it using the VAS tester at the Audi workshop, it worked. After that, it started working again on my laptop as well. I don't know why.
I also wrote that in my thread, but that thread was deleted for no reason.

Post17-12-2013, 8:01    Subject: Fuel Injection for Hot Start Quote

Hello,

My Touran 2.0 (engine code BMN) is also currently experiencing warm start problems. I've tried adjusting the fuel injection quantity using my VCDS software, but without success.

Unfortunately, I can't find the fuel injection amount on either channel 5 or channel 1. Also, logging in with "12233" didn't work.
Is it possible that I am also unable to adjust the fuel injection quantity using VCDS with my specific engine control unit (ECU)?

Regards,
major

Given that several years have passed since the introduction of ASZ engines and that there's also a significant difference between distributor injection pumps and pump-nozzle engines, I strongly suspect that the described procedure will no longer work.

Greetings.
Sure.

Here is the translation of the text from German to English:

"Guste" means "gust" in English. It can also be used as a verb, meaning "to gust."

Unfortunately, the BMN is also a PPD.
So, it doesn't have a Bosch engine control unit.
Since the adaptation channels are not consistent even within Bosch itself,
The question is to what extent their integration is part of the requirements specification for Volkswagen.
and what Siemens has implemented regarding it.

Best regards,
Micha

I think I've probably found a clue.
The engine speed measured with VCDS is approximately 265 RPM when idling, while various sources indicate that it should be at least 280 RPM.
Is that correct?

Yes, there are usually problems with speeds below 280 upm.

Solution: Replace the starter motor, or have a chip tuner with expertise correct the starting fuel mixture. These warm-starting problems are not new icon_wink.gif.

.
Or via a small timer, using the coolant temperature sensor signal.
Set it to "cold" for a few seconds (and then start it during that time).

Of course, undoubtedly the cheapest option, but also the most "Russian"-style solution icon_lol.gif.
