Vectra C sounds good. Do we have "in the family", so let's test it right away

...if it's actually an M5 and no one has yet taken the antenna off the Vectra for exactly this reason!

Okay
Vectra C Antenna by Daddy Gemopst and
It is an M6 thread.
However, the radio reception was impressive - meaning quite good - without an antenna.

I have an Opel part on my Peugeot, and it has M5 bolts.

Hm ??
My Opel steering wheel from "me" is from a Vectra with a built-in phone (without navigation), so it has a "thick" foot.
Perhaps that is precisely the key difference.
Can you provide more details about your Opel part?

My short antenna is some kind of spare part. An Opel part number has not been found on it. It corresponds optically to the short part shown above, but compared to the original Peugeot part, it has a rather stiff base, so it does not flex. The price at Opel was somewhere around 15 EUR, and I received a discount in the single-digit percentage range.
The radio reception is completely unchanged compared to the original antenna. Since I am also a hobbyist with a keen interest in long-wave reception on UKW, I would not have accepted any deterioration. However, I immediately exchanged the active antenna base for the passive version right after purchasing the 206, because the antenna amplifier in the Berlin city center tended to overload, and my car radio also had problems receiving the local station signal.

Globus Hardware has a shortened antenna mast for 11.99 EUR in its range, which can be adapted to M5 or M6 using the included adapters. The technology, appearance, and reception performance are comparable to the shortened, straight antenna masts, for example, those used by Opel. The material is rubber or plastic. However, this mast is not particularly flexible. However, in terms of processing and receiving performance, it is significantly better than most Al antennas.
Maybe this tip will help someone...

Thanks, I appreciate it.
I'm already driving around the area today, and by chance, there's a Globus hardware store there.
Then I'll just go in there ...

Here's the Globus antenna! Once compared to the original part from Peugeot and once in the assembled state.
And here is the short antenna on the vehicle:
As I mentioned, things haven't gotten worse at the reception desk, and I place great importance on this.

No rush, they have a reorder number on the shelf at Globus. It should have found its way into the regular assortment.

I really don't like the look of the bulky antenna foot at all. But opinions often differ on this...

The foot, or "shark fin," is "set."
We now have the "Flosse" with the long pole - specifically the standard G5 model with a GPS.
I only want to change the route.
