Today I had a long drive on the Autobahn. My air-fuel ratio gauge is indicating a need for adjustment. Above 160 km/h, I have no more smoke, and above 180 km/h, according to the navigation system, nothing happens anymore (LD, as mentioned, at 0.6 bar). I already have an idea... I have something in mind for the appropriate nozzles. We'll see if it works.
Furthermore, the T3's response characteristics appeal to my personal taste. It has the characteristic of a naturally aspirated engine at low speeds, gradually building power. The use of this ATL (presumably a specific component) certainly had its purpose. I suspect the cause is related to the response characteristics in the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle). The larger T3 produces a very low exhaust back pressure during the cycle, which favorably influences the emission behavior. Best regards, Rudi.
