Hello,
A friend of mine bought a used Volkswagen Golf VI, manufactured in 2011.
Okay, so the question is: there are jack lift points available for a range of vehicles from the Volkswagen Group.
After searching the internet, I came across a guide that listed the following part numbers and quantities.
8N0804587, quantity: 4, rubber mount.
8P0802845 1x, Left front mounting bracket with cover.
8P0802845 1x, Right front mounting bracket with cover.
8P0802847, quantity: 2, rear view camera(s).
Unfortunately, no Volkswagen parts dealer can tell me (or won't tell me) whether these parts are actually compatible with the Golf VI.
I've installed similar ones in my own Fabia, and they work perfectly. Just place a jack there and pump it up, or use axle stands.
Does anyone know if these things also fit a Volkswagen Golf? Fabia 1.9 Combi, Bj. 2001,ATD Euro 3

Hello Fabia.
I also have these recordings for my Golf 5 4Motion; they should probably fit the Golf 6 as well.
It's very practical, even when lifting items from a lift platform.
Best regards, Thomas.

Thank you for the response.
So, I assume that the part numbers are also correct. Fabia 1.9 Combi, Bj. 2001,ATD Euro 3

Are they permanently mounted or just placed in between during the pumping process?
With my old Ibiza, the recordings were already slightly damaged from the beginning, and it only got worse over time.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the photos.

Hello.
Yes, it will be securely mounted.
Take pictures tomorrow.
A quick Google search for "Audi A3 8P jack points" will even show you installation instructions.
Best regards,
Thomas.

These are definitely the popular jack pads – I have them installed on my Passat 3B, my Lupo, and now also on my A2. I still have some pictures of the Lupo here that I can share.
Bye.

Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:
"Hi,"
I'd be interested to know which jack pads fit the Ibiza 6J.
The Seat workshop I trust the least knew nothing about it.

I don't know if this is more harmful than beneficial.
I think that standard or slightly harder rubber pads, such as those used for car jacks or lifting platforms and readily available everywhere, would be perfectly sufficient, rather than potentially denting the reinforcing plates in the front area. LG, Onkel BM

What exactly happens then, if the holes (recesses) for the jack pads are present?
"But the reinforcing plate is missing, which should have been welded in place during vehicle assembly."
is, for which the jack pads are intended.
For some models (preferably those with small engines), a reinforcing plate is not required.
(For cars with a 1.2-liter gasoline engine), it's good. But with models like the G IV or Octavia that have a TDI diesel engine, things go wrong.

I would prefer a support with a larger surface area at the intended jacking point. LG, Onkel BM

Thank you for the warning!
It shouldn't be a problem at the back, as there's no weight to consider.
I would have been extremely cautious from the very beginning.
Probably not anymore now.
The cheapest experiences are the ones that others have had .
Do you have any tips for recipes that are gentle on the stomach and easy to digest?
It would be best if there were a slot where the Palatinate region could fit without being under any stress.
I hope you understand what I mean.

Yes, for example... however, the slot should not be too deep, nor should the rubber be too soft, so that ultimately the load remains on the weld flange and is not exerted on the sill itself.
A few soft wooden planks will also work if you place them with the grain running perpendicular to the sill. LG, Onkel BM
