Not the same.

I could potentially source a 5-speed manual BLS Passat Bluemotion.

BLS = 1.9 mPD DPF 105 hp 250 Nm
BMR = 2.0, 16V, PPD, 170 hp, 350 Nm.

JYJ = at 6. Gang extended MQ250.
JMA = 6-speed MQ350 transmission for the wagon (the sedan has a slightly longer gear ratio).

Oops, I'm not very familiar with MKB and GKB when it comes to your vehicles.

Is the sedan geared longer than the wagon?
Why?! Do they differ significantly in weight/wind resistance?

I can note the following for my marble: MKB: 8HZ and GKB: MA/5.CXL.
