Please check VCDS-RKS 12.12.3 (which includes new labels). |
Earlier, I reconnected the RNS315 (due to other attempts) and tried out the new VCDS release.
Everything I've tried works, except (as usual) for establishing a connection with "56 Radio".
However, the navigation system offers radio-specific measurement values within its measurement data, and I have based my analysis on the speaker checks.
If I remove the radio from the Gateway's compatibility list while the RNS315 is installed, the Gateway generates an "incorrect coding" error.
BTW, one more question for clarification:
"Where does VCDS get the list of control modules to tap into when the vehicle type list shows '00', as is the case with the Polo 6R?"
My gateway is a 6N part. Even when I use the aftermarket radio to shorten the parts list for navigation, radio, and media player (which the gateway accepts without any error messages), some of the "eliminated" components still appear in the "Installed" menu of VCDS, and in the vehicle scan, these components are displayed in red because they are not responding.
