Everything worked out.
I figured out how the encoding works at address 19 using the assistant.
Okay, everything was encoded, confirmed, and the AHK symbol in the circuit breaker panel was switched off.
Then, register the trailer hitch control module (STG) under address 69. Ready.
However, I had to specifically program one thing: the air suspension for the rear axle, because it needs to react when there is a load on the trailer hitch.
Under address 34, I changed the coding using the assistant, so that the suspension can now react to clutch load.
Now, you can also turn the AHK (Automated Hotkey) "ON" and "OFF" using the media screen.
It was quite a challenging experience without much prior knowledge. However, if you are careful and test it thoroughly, it can work.
I'm glad that it's working properly now.
Hallelujah When it comes to 4G, there are definitely potential pitfalls depending on the specific AHK (trailer hitch) set/control unit and the overall vehicle configuration.
The good thing is: you can do it now. The procedure is very similar across all VAG models, so it will be much faster next time with the next car!
