KDataScope Login Issues: Troubleshooting Guide

Hello forum, I wanted to try out KDataScope, but I can't seem to log in.
When I try to access the CSV log, I am prompted to enter my email address and password, but it doesn't work (Screenshot). I am using the same password as I use for the "dieselschrauber.de" shop. It also doesn't work when I connect the OBD cable. What am I doing wrong? My Acer Aspire E 15 laptop has Windows 10. Thank you for your help.

Hi,

As with the customer account (https://shop.dieselschrauber.de/account.php)), it is important to note that capitalization matters.
Therefore, the easiest way to copy your login details is from the shop's email, using the copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) functions.

You purchased a VCDS, but the corresponding interfaces are not being unlocked by KDataScope. In your case, this needs to be done using your login credentials.
The Dieselschrauber / CANHack RKS+CAN interface unlocks the KDataScope functionality without requiring login credentials or similar information (dongle function).

The computer on which the KDataScope is installed must have internet access via login credentials when it is activated.

If you are 100% certain that the points mentioned above are met and it still doesn't work, you may have spyware on your computer that is intercepting TLS connections. KDataScope can detect this. In this case, KDataScope is the least of your worries; think about online banking.
Check which server the connection originating from KDataScope is trying to reach.
- Running the command "netstat -bn" in an administrator prompt displays the IP addresses of the current connections.
- KDatascope is only allowed to connect to the "Dieselschrauber" server, currently at IP address 178.209.53.204 on port 443.
