Unfortunately, yes.

So, if I enter the access permission codes and also try it through the encoding and customization, it always reverts back to "active."

Okay, and what about the body control module?

The adjustments are failing due to permission issues. I'm not being shown a PIN.

I'm sure it will work. VCDS supports this for almost every control unit. For control unit 09, part number 20113 should work.
Changing the coding for start/stop in the STG 01 (engine control unit) will not have any effect, because the function is likely controlled by the STG 09, and any changes made in the STG 01 will be reset by the overall system.

Could not find a suitable login code. Feedback from Martin on whether it works would be very welcome!

Best regards, Rainer.

Unfortunately, the code still doesn't work.
In the attachment are the pictures showing that no code is displayed and what is listed under "Adjustments." There should be more options under the adjustments. According to a gentleman, the coding is used for the start-stop function. Or, I might have a special model of the Superb that doesn't allow me to make many changes. icon_sad.gif
Or it only works with a so-called memory module. However, there are also circuits that automatically disable the Secondary Start Assist (SSA) when the ignition is turned on.

There should be more information under the "Customizations" section.
That's why the question arises about the engine control unit mapping.
First, we need to resolve the login issue.

I've already tried several codes, but none of them worked.

Do you get a hint (pop-up) for the login on any of the control units?

I just checked. It doesn't work on the ones I tried it on. For the MSG, it shows the value for regeneration.

I've managed to temporarily disable the SSA. I adjusted the temperature downwards on channel 13 in the gateway – it took a while to adjust. The engine no longer shuts off. However, I'm not sure if this channel only controls the SSA or if it also affects other functions.

"It would be great if the login issue could be resolved. I'd also like to implement further measures to extend the lifespan of the engine."

I'm glad you at least have a solution now.
I'm surprised that VCDS doesn't provide any suggestions for the login IDs for certain control modules (MSG) in the 3T platform, even though this is a 2015 model.
You might find more information on a Superb forum if you're interested.
Otherwise, this would also be a question for Ross-Tech.

Can you please enter the individual channels using numbers?
I tried it on a Touran, and here, all available options are displayed, but you can't enter a specific number anymore.

I wanted to use the temperature to disable the SSA in the Gateway, but I can't select any of the adjustment channels other than the ones suggested, and none of them are related to the SSA.

You need to go into the long encoding. There are then several bytes. Go to the 13th byte. The standard is probably 000200, or 50, but you need to change that to 30.

Hi, does anyone know how to disable the SSA (Start-Stop System) on a Skoda Fabia 6N? I've tried it and haven't been able to do it. I'm also having the same problem with the login codes; they're not showing up for me either. I've attached a scan of the vehicle data. Maybe someone has experience with this on a Fabia.
