Regarding the technology of Bosch and Pierburg mass airflow sensors, from the perspective of an expert (?), I found the following:

If that's true, then I believe everyone should really switch to Pierburg - and if the characteristic curve doesn't match the engine, they should somehow modify it, for example, through electronic corrections.
