Well... it's just ADAC tests. They've been telling me for years that the Conti Sport Contact 2 is prone to aquaplaning and therefore quite unstable in wet conditions. However, my experience with these tires on now 4 different vehicles is that I haven't driven a better summer tire in wet conditions yet.

You can definitely find the TS 790 at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend it for wet conditions. This year, I got the TS 810, so let's see how it performs.

The TS790/810 is not an option for me because it's not available in my configuration/size.

So, either I'll look for another TS780, because I was very happy with that one back then, or I'll go with a different brand (Goodyear UG 7).

Based on my experience, there's no way around Goodyear. So far, they've been the best tires I've ever used in the winter. I've been using the UG 6, and now I'm excited to try the UG 7, which I'm planning to buy this year. It performed the best in the ADAC test.
With this tire, I've even managed to get through the last two snowy winters here in Austria without all-wheel drive (and I always have to drive uphill...).
By the way, the Michelin Alpine A2 is also very good.
