For the past two years, I've been driving my 1Z with the conventional KKK K14 turbo. The turbo is normally controlled by the MSG and N75, so it works
Unfortunately, the K14 is significantly slower than the original Turbo from the 1Z, and this is noticeable in the slower build-up of boost pressure in the lower RPM range. But I've gotten used to it, it's okay for me
The K14 would theoretically be capable of higher boost pressure, as the compressor is larger than that of the smaller K03 from the 1Z. Practically, I haven't done anything yet, as there's nothing to change.
