I don't quite understand some of what you're saying. I haven't experienced any stalling with my Golf (ATD 74kw) so far, and I haven't had any other starting problems either. The fuel consumption is also okay, but unfortunately, I don't have any specific figures because I don't have a Multifunction Display (MFA) and I never fill the tank completely. I usually drive in a way that I shift gears before reaching the point where it gets really fun. There are no problems driving at 50 km/h in 5th gear. The only thing I hear is some rattling plastic inside the car...
So, similar positive experiences as with Hati.

After all the others, I also want to add another one of the same kind (using the new spelling):
My old ALH engine ran and pulled much more smoothly than my new AXR engine. Back then, I was very disappointed and wondered if they were only building cars for retirees anymore.
Apparently, they listened to me.
The new one reminds me a lot of my old G2 GTD special with 80 horsepower. With that car, things also started later, but then it really took off. And it's the same again now, how nice.

What I find utterly ridiculous is the constant manipulation of the instruments. The speedometer shows too high a reading, and the MFA (Multi-Function Display) shows too low a reading. 130 km/h is actually 120 km/h, and a claimed average fuel consumption of 6.2 liters is really 6.4 liters.
Can this be adjusted through adaptation?

The MFA (Multi-Function Display) is secure; there are adaptation channels for it... we had something like that before. The speedometer probably isn't, as it needs to display a higher value.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to measure the exact wheel circumference and add a bicycle speedometer as an additional instrument; they can be adjusted for various purposes.

I just adjust the speedometer in my head (by simply driving a little faster than allowed).
I took the new car to the ADAC (German automobile club) and had the speedometer checked (it's free). It turned out there was about a 7% discrepancy. While that's technically okay, it's not really great. This means that for a top speed of 188 km/h as indicated on the speedometer, the car should actually be able to reach approximately 202 km/h.
He hasn't done that yet, even after 2700 km. Based on experience, it usually takes about 15-20,000 km for TDIs to be fully broken in.

Well, that sound doesn't make me addicted. I find it more annoying. It could also be because it was a 4-year-old 530d with an automatic transmission.
