Octavia Won't Start: 110HP Engine Troubleshooting

Hello,
I'm having the following problem:

My Octavia with a 110hp TDI engine sometimes doesn't start, or it sometimes stalls while driving. I've already read the error codes, and the results are:

Control unit part number: 1J0 907 379 H.
Component and/or version: ABS/EDS 20 IE CAN 0001
Encoding: 13304
Workshop code: WSC 31480.
1 error code found.
01314 - Engine Control Unit (ECU)
49-10 - No communication - Intermittent.


What I also noticed is that the error occurred at very warm temperatures. Usually, it would resolve itself later in the evening. My suspicion was that it might be related to the wire resistance, which could potentially increase at higher temperatures.

Does anyone happen to know the cause of this phenomenon?

Yes, I found the reference to WFS there. Is it possible that there's an entry about it in the ABS control unit?
