Hello,

Because the high-pressure part of my VEP (Golf 3 Variant, built in 1995, engine code 1Z) was leaking, I removed it to seal it.

During the removal, I discovered that one of the springs in the high-pressure part was broken.

When I asked the 'helpful' Bosch service about these springs, they first said '???????' (moment, I'll get the boss), then they completely dismissed me.

How is this possible? icon_twisted.gif
Why are you doing that? icon_twisted.gif
That's never going to work! icon_twisted.gif

When I finally managed to place the order for the feathers, I was told that the ESPs absolutely had to be calibrated on a test bench, due to the operating speed.

Now the question:
Is that correct?

When I asked if the TDI didn't have the EDC handle this, the boss simply said: 'If you think that's possible.'

My conclusion: Very unfriendly and incompetent service, only the boss seemed to have some understanding.

Hi,

Danke nochmal an DieselSend
