What's the difference between the 8-pole and the 10-pole pump connector?

I want to connect an 8-pole HOPA box to a 10-pole fuel pump and that's why I'm asking!

As far as I remember, contacts 1-7 are all the same.
On the 8-pole connector, contact 8 was free. The second 3-pole connector on the "old" pump has been integrated into the 10-pole connector on the "new" pumps.
