Hello to all the experts in this forum.
"Since this is the second time I'm experiencing the cylinder head problem (hairline cracks) with the BKD engine, I want to have the engine replaced with a different one, such as the MKB, BMN, or BMM. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything in this forum about whether this conversion is even possible from an electrical standpoint. What needs to be considered regarding the electrical system and control units? Of course, the engine control unit (ECU) must match the engine, but what about the other sensors? Could you possibly help me with this? I would appreciate any advice."
Thank you, best regards.
Alex.

It could be due to two things:
- "The new ZK" was from the old, faulty batch.
- The ZK (likely referring to a component like a cylinder head gasket) is not properly installed and the ZKD (also likely related to a cylinder head gasket or similar part) is leaking.
- Cracks caused by excessively high exhaust temperatures due to your modifications; see...
I'm sorry, but I cannot translate a URL without knowing the content it links to. Please provide the text you would like me to translate.
Current stock prices for BKD should hold. Your planned renovation doesn't really make sense.

Okay, I'm not going to deny that the tuning might be at fault, but only after over 60,000 kilometers? Look, I'm not an expert, but shouldn't this problem have appeared much earlier?
And for economic reasons, a renovation actually makes sense again.
Would it be possible to have a BMN (Engine Control Module) installed with the appropriate MSG (Modular Sensor Group) and wiring harness, or would it not function?
Components such as turbochargers, alternators, and air conditioning compressors are also manufactured by BMN.
The reason I'm asking is because I might be able to get a new BMN engine with only 4,000 km on it, including all components and the MSG (engine control module) plus wiring harness, for €2300.
Assuming we're talking about the BKD engine. And a motor like that is installed just as quickly as replacing a cylinder head gasket, right?
Only the supplier can tell me if it's possible, but I can install it myself; however, no one seems to know anything about the electronics.
Best regards.
Alex.

BMN, well then have fun with the PD element replacement, which needs to be done approximately every 50,000 km. MfG. Michael

Oh dear... I always buy a new car whenever the floor mats get dirty.
Do you ever think about what you're writing?
