"I'm experiencing the following problem with my DW4SC: the module control unit displays constantly changing error codes, sometimes it's the glow plug, other times it's a temperature sensor or a low battery voltage. However, these errors are definitely not present. Also, the error memory cannot be cleared."
Okay, I think I've probably found the cause. I removed the control unit and also disconnected the connector inside the housing. While doing so, I noticed that the contacts looked corroded. After cleaning them with some Caramba, I reassembled the heating system. So far, it's working perfectly again. Hopefully, it stays that way.

Hello Benno!

I think that might have been the problem. That makes me wonder where your heater is located. Perhaps salt spray gets inside during the winter.

Regards, mcgregg.

hiho

Does the control unit actually function correctly if it's installed upside down? In my case, it wouldn't fit any other way due to the water connections.

I highly doubt that; the water cycle must be completely sealed.
I think the water connections are now at the bottom, right? Is air accumulating in the heating system?

hiho

'With the connections facing downwards, you can install them. Then, you just need to loosen the screw to bleed the air. In my case, the connections are facing upwards.'
