There are two different LMM (Mass Air Flow Sensor) models from Pierburg for the T4 TDI.
1. LMS 7.18221.51.0 replaces 7.18221.01.0.
2. LMS 7.18221.58.0 replaces 7.18221.08.0.
I still have the LMM with the old connector (two-row).
My original VW chassis number is 074 906 461.
What is the difference between the two models?
Which one should I order?

Yep, that's him.
Can the 7.18221.08.0 be converted to a ....01.0 model, or can the connectors be rewired?
The ...08.0 costs much less.
